Contact: Aliens in Media

X-Files: episode Redux 2

DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE
11:04 am
(Mulder and Kritschgau are walking down the hall)

MULDER: What am I looking for?

KRITSCHGAU: Level 4 is a biological quarantine wing. It houses a series of labs and medical facilities, and an elaborate facility for the storage of mass quantities of DNA.

MULDER: DNA from whom?

KRITSCHGAU: Virtually every American born since 1945. Every immigrant, every indigenous person who's ever given blood or tissue to a government donor. This is what I was telling you. This is the hoax into which you've been drawn. The roots go back 50 years to the end of World War II. Playing on a virulent national appetite for bogus revelation and a public newly fearful of the atomic bomb... (During the rest of the monologue by Kritschgau, we see old film and pictures of what he's talking about) the U.S. Military Command began to fan the flames of what were being called flying saucer stories. There are truths that can kill a nation, Agent Mulder. The military needed something to deflect attention away from its arms strategy - global domination from the capability of total enemy annihilation. The nuclear card was fine as long as we alone could play it. But the Generals and Politicos knew they could not win a public relations war. Those photographs from Nagasaki and Hiroshima were not faces Americans wanted to see in the mirror. Oppenheimer knew it, of course, but we silenced him. When the Russians developed the bomb, the fear in the military was not for safety at home, but for armistice and treaty. The business of America isn't business, Agent Mulder, it's war. Since Antitam, nothing has driven the economy faster. We needed a reason to keep spending money, and when there wasn't a war to justify it, we called it a war anyway. The Cold War was essentially a fifty year public relations battle... a pitched game of chicken against an enemy we not much more than called names. The Communists called us a few names, too. "We will bury you," Kruschev said, and the public believed it. And after what McCarthy had done, they ate it with a big spoon. We faced off a few times in Cuba, Korea, Vietnam, but nobody dropped the bomb - nobody dared.

MULDER: But what does all this have to do with flying saucers?

KRITSCHGAU: The U.S. Military saw a good thing in '47 when the Roswell story broke. The more we denied it, the more people thought it was true - aliens had landed. A made-to-order cover story for generals looking to develop the national war chest. They opened official investigations with names like Grudge, Twinkle, Project Blue Book, Majestic 12. They brought in college professors and Congressmen and fed them enough bogus facts and fuzzy pictures and eyewitness accounts that they believed it, too. They even hooked Doug MacArthur, for God's sake. I can't tell you how fortuitous it was. Do you know when the first supersonic flight was, Agent Mulder? 1947. Soon every experimental aircraft being flown was a UFO sighting. When the abduction stories started up, it was too perfect. We almost got caught in Korea, an ambitious misstep. China and the Soviets knew it. The UN got all heated up at us.

MULDER: Germ warfare. We were accused of using it in the Korea.

KRITSCHGAU: It was developmental then, nothing like what we and the Russians have now. The bio-weapons used in the Gulf War were so ingenious as to be almost undetectable. Developed in this very building. (They walk through a door)

MULDER: What about all the reports of abductions? You're saying they've all been lies?

KRITSCHGAU: Not lies exactly, (We see a woman laying on a table with a big stomach and a grid pattern of lights shining on her, like Scully during her abduction) but citizens taken unsuspecting and tested. A classified military project, above top-secret and still ongoing. You've heard the recent denials about Roswell by the military and the CIA. What's been the effect? Even wilder and more widespread belief. The American appetite for bogus revelation, Agent Mulder.

MULDER: But I've seen aliens. I've witnessed these things.

KRITSCHGAU: You've seen what they wanted you to see. (They go into an elevator) The line between science and science fiction doesn't exist any more. This is about control, of the very elements of life. DNA - yours, mine, everyone's.

MULDER: Then why a hoax? Why create hard evidence, an alien body that could be disproved?

KRITSCHGAU: The body you found was so good, so believable, that only a directed scientific examination could have proven the fraud.

MULDER: Scully would have known.

KRITSCHGAU: The timing of the hoax was planned so Agent Scully wouldn't be alive to do the examination.

MULDER: You went along with all this. You let them do this to Scully.

KRITSCHGAU: I paid the price, Agent Mulder. When my son came back sick from the Gulf War, that was my retribution. I'm helping you now, but not unselfishly.

MULDER: You believe there's a cure for him in here, too.

KRITSCHGAU: I have to think there is.

-X-Files: Redux (thanks to insidethex for the quote)

When most people watch the X-Files, or the second season of American Horror Story, they probably get the idea that these shows are about aliens. Mostly aliens, and a couple of monsters...but I'm beginning to think more and more that they are illustrating people that are monsters...A few lone stragglers of psychopathology and a much more structured over-arching story of organized human monsters. Namely the Nazis...

(From a different episode, so a bit out of context...but for the sake of sync, you see where I'm going with this)

American Horror Story, the X-Files, and Call of Duty: Black Ops

When I began watching the second season of American Horror Story I was hoping they would be brave enough to come around full circle and illustrate how the Nazi doctor was involved in an alien abduction, and furthering his experiments mainly within a psych ward, continuing his work from the War. Anything less would be irresponsible on the part of the show's writers I think, but that's just my opinion. After reading about this stuff for so long, it is nice to see the public, already obsessed with horror for gores sake, taking in some little known historical facts while they watch (...one of the most popular shows on right now) It has long been a theory of mine that eugenics, biological and chemical experiments were continued after the war, the US,Canada,South America and elsewhere; not only in psych wards, prisons, the military and anywhere they had access to people, but through the use of intelligence organizations' mind control tactics, and of course, the infamous underground bases. The complete faking of alien abduction and proliferation of the UFO phenomenon to hide the truth. A cold hard truth that many in the UFO and abduction fields would have trouble swallowing...

In one episode the Nazi doctor (Dr.Arthur Aden) stated directly that his funding and perhaps some of his orders, to create a species of humans that could withstand nuclear fallout, that could survive the Cold War regardless of how hideous, came straight from the Vatican in Rome. How many other things Nazi came from or still run from this route of funding and interest?

In some of the episode we see that he has plant experiments as well. This mirrors three different things the X-Files were trying to tell us about Nazi doctors with plants, about abductions, and about super soldiers.

Victor Klemper-http://x-files.wikia.com/wiki/Victor_Klemper

"Dr. Arthur Arden (James Cromwell) is a doctor at Briarcliff Institute and a former Nazi whose sadistic experiments have produced "Raspers", mutated former patients, who lurk in the woods surrounding the institution. He appears to have a history of violence towards women."http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_American_Horror_Story_characters#Season_2

Call of Duty-Black Ops 2: Zombies- The doctor in American Horror Story resonates with the doctor in Black Ops. They are both Nazis working on a post apocalyptic super human race. Both developing zombies, it seems along the way. (see note COD)

Explorers:

This film  seems like "post-Nazi/NASA/Sirius propaganda weirdness" which is a genre that only includes a handful of films, from the mid to late 80s. Ethan Hawk plays an astral traveling dreamer,  and the film follows the adventure of he and two equally space crazed friends. One of his friends ( River Phoenix ) develops a type of new exotic matter based off the work of his eccentric German father, who happens to be a fan of Wernher Von Braun.

( We may suppose this is why the boys' spaceship is confused with UFO sightings, to suggest Vril type UFO applications ) This new type of Flubber-esque matter allows the boys to build a ship out of a Mars colored tilt a whirl car, which they find in an abandoned building, seated between two all seeing pillars of Oceanic style, and at the mouth of a long dragon. They mention the need for contact with other worlds " Somebody's calling us, they been calling since the beginning " and later in the film when Ethan meets the aliens he unloads a full knowledge of Ancient Aliens. The term Sirius is used out of correct context a million times, usually with Mars or the Sun in the frame.

Ethan mentions knowing what it's like on Mars for no reason and one of the other kids receives downloads telepathically... So they build this ship and launch it on a full moon only to crash into a drive-in movie theater playing a campy sci fi movie. The problem is that besides mentioning Von Braun by name, and the German scientist, this campy movie shows Odin and some Aryan goofball with what looks like Isis. Odin falls to his death, as the boys' instruments read various things including the word ODIN. Later aboard the alien ship the aliens explain what they thought would happen to them if they visited earth by showing Ymir, from Ray Harryhousen's 20 Million Miles to Earth. Meanwhile Kolchak the Night Stalker is rolling around as an MIB agent posing as a cop with a six pointed star=hexagon=Saturn (control of the matrix) badge...the aliens are obsessed with sensory bombardment, the kids stayed up too late watching Lawnmower man, perhaps?, and the aliens/Saturn worshipers keep making Banana references to show familiarity and assimilation tactics through the imitation of lesser beings...(Straight programming for the "colonize the Moon and Mars" generation...?)

How Sharp A Serpent's Tooth

ST.Sharper+than+a+Serpent's+Tooth.pngtas_hs_14.jpghowsharper1-300x223.jpgtas_hs_shadow.jpg

There is an episode of the Star Trek cartoon called " How Sharp a Serpent's Tooth where a flying serpent convinces the crew he was the incarnation of all ancient worldly serpent deities and that he instructed man in building the pyramids and other sacred sites.

"It is also important to note that, as Temple points out, the ancient Egyptian word and hieroglyph for goddess also means serpent, and their hieroglyph for Sirius also means tooth. Thus the stories of the "serpent's tooth" can be read as the " Goddess Sirius." The egyptian word for tooth also means dog and, more specifically, dog-god and one hundred." - Icke[1]

" Following the signal of a mysterious probe, the Enterprise is immobilized by an alien whose ship resembles a winged serpent, and who claims to be Kukulkan the ancient god of the Mayan-Aztec people on Earth. Kukulkan transports Kirk, McCoy, Scotty, and Walking Bear to his ship, where they find an ancient city, and are told they must solve the puzzle of the city or the Enterprise will be destroyed." A little bit of cross medium archaeology reveals the same plot in Arthur C. Clarke's book Childhood's End, as well as Jack Kirby's great impossible-to-publish mix of science fiction and mythology, The Eternals. In the Eternals, Kirby poses some brave ancient astronaut theories ( having the aliens land on Inca lines in between pyramids and claim responsibility for ancient designs ) while explaining that all the worlds mythologies and religions viewed the other race hidden, here on earth, as Demons (Deviants in the Eternals). ( of course the ones with a reptilian/cryptid type appearance )

 The Magicks of Megas-Tu

"Know that once, upon your world, I was known as Asmodeus, he who sees all. Gaze upon my countenance so that you too may see."

- Megas Prosecutor

While investigating the science behind creation, the crew " befriend " a zany deity named Lucien ( looks like Pan, acts like Robin Williams, thinks like Lucifer. He becomes an entity not unlike Mr.Tumnus from C.S. Lewis' work in his " love" for humanity, defiance of the hierarchy on humanity's behalf ) Lucien explains himself to be an outcast for his beliefs or motivations. Then Spock sketches out a pentagram and uses magick proper, to move chess pieces. It is proposed that wherever they are, mind has more immediate control over reality. Lucien seems upset by Spock's bold venture into high magick but before he can really elaborate on the dangers of exploring these systems a bunch of hobgoblin poltreigeist thingies teleport them to "1691 Salem Massacchussets if Spock's historical record recall is correct. They are on trial in stockades awaiting Asmodeus' sentence.

" Has this one not told you how we visited your earth..."-Asmodeus
" Lucien said only, that you came as wise men as wizards "-Kirk"
" We came to your world as friends but whereever we went the story was invariably the same, some humans would use us to serve their own greed and lust. When we refused to serve them, they turned against us and taught other humans to fear us to hate. They called us devils, warlocks "-Asmodeus

Asmodeus explains that some of these beings tried to settle in Salem ,but often accidently showing their power, triggered the witch hunts. While "Great White Brotherhood-type imagery flashes, he explains that is why they are not a fan of other beings or "outsiders".

( The symbols seems to switch from the as above so below Star of David, to the classic magick pentagram )
During the trial Spock inquires as to why Lucien believes in them. He admits sharing deep curiosity and wonder. Kirk explains that humanity has evolved much since Salem while standing at the foot of a yellow pentagram. Asmodeus is appalled that Kirk would defend Lucien, explaining that he is the tempter, Lucifer!!! Kirk is unphased and fights for his rights as a sentient being anyway, Asmodeus attacks Kirk with windy colors?

themagicksofmegastu_custom-500x375.jpgmegastu-1.gif

Kirk relates Asmodeus' survival mechanism of paranoid fear to the attribute in humanity which he is most opposed.

" The banishment of fear shall help us all " - Asmodeus
‎" This would make the second time Lucifer was cast out, and because of you, the first time he was saved " -Spock

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Aliens:

Reptilian mutants who follow the genetic equivalant of a zen red skull guy, Splinter. ( Not many people know that one of the cartoons first intros was done by Peter Chung, who later became known for his amazing work on Aeon Flux, and Alexander. )

The Turtles themselves being invented by Eastman and Laird, appearing in comics like Plastron Cafe before having their own gritty black and white issues. Soon the comic turtles would cross over and have lengthy adventures with the likes of Cerebrus in Caliber graphic novels. Though the history of ninjitsu and the mythical backing for ninjitsu can be found on the Mortal Kombat page, the turtles established their own ancient lineage in the film Turtles in Time, as well as with intergalactic Zatoichi-type character Usagi Yojimbo.

g06551kbv6i.jpg90269_700b.jpgTMTN3_CoverArt.jpg

Season 9: written by Fred Wolf, who also did the chipmunks and Bond jr. Oddly enough the main alien villain is named Dregg, the actor who plays his voice is also Dregit, the lead alien in a Spielberg cartoon series.

Episode 1 " The Unknown Ninja "

Gold is stolen form the Federal Reserve by aliens with Monotomic intent, who wish to establish a base on Earth and pirate our resources. While the turtles gasp at the aliens jacking the gold they fly a plane right past the WTC towers in the same shot. Mystery Ninja- Carter is interested in Hamato Yoshi- the sensei of the foot clan. Sith, black magick kind of ideas are mentioned here. The aliens need the gold to repair their shields, the aliens hijack transhumanist minority report robots to kill humans. The voice of " high tech " is the same as Pinky, as he helps another Brain ( Dregg ) destroy the world.
screencap25.jpgscreencap07.jpg157011.jpg

Episode 2 - Dregg of the Earth

Dregg descends from a massive UFO, with the Hollywood SET and Tact of a politician to tell people that his own planet was destroyed by greed and war, and our world is on the same path. To help earth he presents the molecular convertor, and the Turtles are suspicious of the public buying in to the plot. Dregg builds a "Citadel of Science for the good of mankind" a huge skyscraper in the middle of the city. " the good old sewers , they'll get you anywhere. Dregg induces very tight security on his new complex. Carter sells out the turtles, and Dregg gives them a Magneto speech while they are abduction style strapped down, about how they are mutant freaks and they should help him conquer the weak. Carter winds up being a furry yellow mutant warrior ( I don't write this stuff ) and the turtles wind up gaining back their friendship with Carter, and blowing the tower. Then splinter gives a mutation speech.
169378.jpgbwjipggsijolbig.jpg
" Master Splinter, Carter,... how long have you been watching kid's cartoons ? "

Episode 3 The Wrath of Medusa Episode 4 The New Mutation Episode 5 The Showdown

Starts with underground establishments playing TV shows of Dregg being a hero and savior of Earth as the turtles fight his mining cronies. Carter and Don build a holographic reality creator. Aliens tell world leaders they will fix a dormant space station and the turtles mutate into fat tuna sandwiches...There's a character named Medusa, but she's kind of so annoying that there is no reason to actually inform you of her existence. Carter uses the holographic reality projector successfully to produce a princess Leia version of himself as the turtles come to terms with their mutation experience. Carter gets a " stay in the moment " speech from Splinter. Dregg uses the space station he was claiming to fix, to eliminate earth's defenses. Galactic forced labor mines, is something Medusa refers to, " well dudes I guess we are gonna be space miners for the rest of our lives. " " this isn't a phone booth, it's a teleporter ! " Doctor Who reference.

Turtles referred to throughout this miniseries as Deviants, In Jack Kirby's world these are the underground or reptilian race in the Eternals. SkySat is the space station Dregg uses to knock out all Earth communications, and then announces it is a false flag operation. He takes control of all weapons systems on earth. The turtles fly up on a " starship " and bust up the Blue Beam device, I mean SkySat. The "X-fire needs to go to KillDear Mt" says an MP that works for a major corporation. False flag war perpetuated and Ninja Turtles become like X-Men, hated for who they are and their opposition to the V plot. Dregg propaganda takes over the city. " We need to reveal Dregg's plot to the world, not build weapons " The turtles stumble upon a metalurgy incubator, whatever that actually is... The term TeknoGangters is used repeatedly by the Turtles in reference to the Transmutanist...whatever that is...

Dregg establishes another " citadel " at Killdear mountain complete with Annunaki style gargoyles and sacred geometric construction like an old cathedral " Who's this guy's architect Dracula?" The incubator births an angry slug and Carter has to ride it like a bull...

Later Series:

False flag alien invasion, identical to season 9 turtles, the bad guys don't even warn the army on the ground. Turtles figure it out right away just like season 9 " fake aliens, fake ships" The turtles realize the false flag war was only about money, and establishing a messiah image for the Earth Defense Force...

In the comics:
"And then you've got this cover, with an armored insectoid character who looks uncannily like the Archons from ol' Granty's Invisibles... this was published in 1993, a year or so before the Invisibles started. Though I don't imagine Morrison was ripping off them Ninja Turtles..." - Colin Reid 293368_10150326768731097_636726096_8413346_1060820022_n.jpg298179_10150326774021097_636726096_8413370_493954783_n.jpg
( above left )
"this was the Archie series, spun off from the cartoon, rather than the original Mirage comics series, which inspired the cartoon; it was often quite weird, what with intergalactic wrestling, huge flying cow-heads, demonic businessmen, hive-mind alien invaders... and these familiar-looking guys - the Sons Of Silence..." - Colin Reid

Invasion America and Ninja Turtles Season 9, what's the difference?

We start with voice actor Bumper Robinson who also plays Zammis, the child alien in the film Enemy Mine. Here in Ninja Turtles he is Carter, someone who has a slight resemblance to rapper Carter below. He also mutates, like Wayne as well.

"Dr. Ludvig Maxis and his scientist team, Group 935, were tasked with creating an army of super soldiers and new technology for the government project christened "Der Riese" or "The Giant". In his experiments, Maxis usedElement 115 to create the zombies. The zombies, however, couldn't be controlled and would always be killed when they went berserk.
While this was going on, Dr. Edward Richtofen was testing 115 on living test subjects to create his super soldiers at a Siberian facility. In his experiments, Richtofen used Takeo Masaki, Nikolai Belinski, and an unknown Mexican. When Richtofen accidentally killed the Mexican, he replaced him with Tank Dempsey. Dempsey had recently been captured when he went to spy on the asylum to rescue Dr. Peter McCain, an OSS spy sent to infiltrate Group 935. After being captured, a Marine Recon team was sent in after him to the abandoned asylum. Richtofen, however, already suspected Peter McCain (along with Harvey Yena), and the team was killed. The testing affected each of the subjects' minds, making Dempsey extremely aggressive, quieting Takeo into only reciting Japanese proverbs, and making Nikolai functionless without vodka. It also had the side effect of erasing their recent memories, making them forget how Richtofen captured them and what he did to them.

Maxis also invented 115-powered teleporters, but they would always destroy anything sent through them. All of these experiments were done with his assistant, Dr. Richtofen. Without Maxis, Richtofen and Schuster would complete the first successful teleportation with a walnut using a very small amount of 115. When Maxis found out about this, he criticized Richtofen for not working on his project and that teleporting a walnut wasn't a big deal. Maxis then told Richtofen that he was going to make a deal with the Nazi party for money and equipment in exchange for weapons. These new weapons Group 935 created were also powered by 115. Maxis created the Ray Gun based on plans received from Shi No Numa. Richtofen created the Monkey Bomb and Wunderwaffe DG-2 from 115. Maxis promised to mass-produce the DG-2 to his superiors, but his growing infatuation with Sophia slowed his progress and infuriated Richtofen, who was secretly plotting to overthrow him and take control of Group 935. Richtofen continued his teleporter tests with Schuster behind Maxis' back. Richtofen was the first human test subject and was first sent to the M.P.D., which he believed to be of alien origin. When he touched it, he felt static and started hearing whispering. He was then teleported to a jungle. Dr. Scheuster got worried and planned to scrap the teleporter when Richtofen had been gone for a few days, but he returned as Schuster was talking about it and told him that there was work to be done. Richtofen sounded much crazier and Scheuster noticed this change.
Two Group 935 scientists, Dr. Groph and Dr. Schuster, were stationed at the Moon base and were trying to figure out how to work the M.P.D.. When Schuster killed a rat, its soul was absorbed by a glass vial protruding from the machine. The pair then proceeded to kill many people until the device was filled with souls. The bodies were buried on the moon, leaving them open to zombification. When they finished, they contacted Richtofen who told them that he was going finally going to get rid of the Maxises, indicating that the two scientists were aware of his scheme.

Unbeknownst to Maxis, Richtofen had already mastered teleportation while Maxis was still trying to master it. Maxis was getting frustrated that he could not send a subject to the mainframe Maxis and then used his daughterSamantha's dog, Fluffy, as a teleporter test subject but once again failed. The dog was teleported, but instead of being destroyed like past test subjects, she was zombified (the first hellhound). When Samantha came running in and started questioning her dad about what happened to her dog, Maxis tried to stop her and get out of the room. Richtofen then followed through with his previously-planned betrayal by locking Maxis and his daughter in the room with the hellhound, he then activated the teleporter which he then thought killed Samantha and Maxis.

Little did Richtofen know that Maxis' teleporter actually worked and sent Samantha to the Moon base. In her fear, she ran into the M.P.D. and became the one to control the zombies. When Richtofen was informed of what had occurred he warned the pair of scientists about the hellhound and then told them to find a way to get Maxis. When Maxis was found, they let him approach his daughter to calm her down. After apologizing for his actions, Maxis told Samantha to kill all of the Group 935 members for betraying him and was subsequently shot. Samantha then proceeded to fulfill her father's request by unleashing the zombies.

Richtofen retreated with his super-soldiers to Shi No Numa to think things through. When the zombies attackedRichtofen he realized that Samantha will stop at nothing to seek revenge. Richtofen planed to recover all of the equipment to take control of the zombies. Richtofen then took the group to Der Riese, which had been abandoned since the zombie takeover. The group used the Wunderwaffe DG-2's 115 to overcharge the Teleporter, making it capable of time travel. Richtofen was apparently unaware of this possibility until he tried it. He seemed unconcerned that he and his partners have been teleported to an abandoned theater in Germany in an unknown year. Although he didn't know what year it was, Richtofen knew about the theater as it was the place Maxis would unveil the Teleporterto the German high command. Since Maxis was killed, the theater was abandoned.
Sometime prior the characters' arrival at the Soviet Cosmodrome, Yuri Kravcheski was transferred to work on sending monkeys into space, much to his dismay. His transfer was caused by his superior, Gersch, who he holds a grudge against. As the radio messages progress, Yuri notices the teddy bear and the Matryoshka Dolls and wonders how a child could be let into the station. A child then slowly drives Yuri insane. Yuri, in his state of insanity, finishes the Gersch Device and has Gersch activate it, letting in the zombies and trapping Gersch. Yuri soon realizes his mistake and is heard screaming at the end of the last recording.

After the events of Kino der Toten, the main characters somehow reach an abandoned Soviet Cosmodrome. The characters then hear Gersch, who tells them that the mechanism must be repaired. He is referring to the Kassimir Mechanism, which must be repaired by completing different tasks. After all of the tasks are completed and the mechanism is repaired, Gersch is freed.

While the events of Ascension are occurring in Russia, the events of "Five" are also unfolding in the Pentagon. A piece of Intel reveals that all Wunderwaffe materials were to be moved to American-controlled installations. As a mainframe is visible behind one of the windows in "Five", it is apparent that it was moved there as per this order. While John F. Kennedy, Robert McNamara, Fidel Castro, and Richard Nixon are negotiating, zombies break into the Pentagon with only the four of them left to fight them. While fighting, they call Dempsey, Takeo, Nikolai, and Richtofen using three red telephones spread across the Pentagon. Their calls show that they're running out of ammo and will soon be defeated.

As they continue fighting, the three super-soldier test subjects slowly regain their memories. Takeo is the first to remember, and remarks to himself that some day when the group is finished fighting zombies Richtofen will get what he deserves. He also shows his observations of the other two. He believes Nikolai drinks vodka because he wishes to forget the past and can't function when he remembers it, perhaps meaning Nikolai is beyond hope. Tank, on the other hand, is slowly making progress, as he remembers that he'd seen Richtofen before the fight at Shi No Numa.Takeo notes his shifting memories and believes Tank is finally remembering what Richtofen did to him.

Sometime in the present, George A. Romero stumbled upon Group 935's research while making a WWII film. He and the cast took a ship out to an abandoned lab in Siberia. After he and the ship's crew were zombified, only the cast, made up of Sarah Michelle Gellar, Robert Englund, Danny Trejo, and Michael Rooker, remained. This set the stage for Call of the Dead. After the Kassimir Mechanism was completed in Ascension, it overloaded the teleporter and sent the original characters to a Group 935 facility in Siberia, where they were trapped behind a locked door. The celebrities then proceeded to help them escape to Paradise. Richtofen then asked the celebrities to help him obtain the Golden Rod, which they did. Richtofen thanks the group by giving them the DG-2 to help them fight thezombies. In reality, the group could've escaped after the security system was disabled. It is unknown what became of the celebrities after helping the group escape.Group 935 ( or 17 )http://nazizombies.wikia.com/wiki/Group_935

Shangri-La, however, does not live up to its name, as its inhabitants have all been zombified before the group's arrival. Richtofen now states that this the last step to controlling the world before he is teleported there. The temple houses a mining facility filled with Element 115, explaining the inhabitants' zombification.

Prior to the group's arrival to Shangri-La, two explorers, Brock and Gary went on an expedition to prove their theories on Argatha. Brock later figures out that the temple wasn't built by an ancient civilization, but by people in the modern era interpreting it. After investigating the temple, the pair accidentally activated the temple's time travel and died in the resulting Zombie attack. The group travels back in time and helps the pair survive. The pair's changing fate is illustrated by the radio that changes message and location as the group helps them. When the group finally create the Focusing Stone, it lands on an altar with Richtofen's name on it, meaning the temple was in fact anotherGroup 935 facility and explaining Richtofen's knowledge of its location. The two explorers are then sent back to the moment they discovered the temple, indicating that they're stuck in a never-ending loop.

Now in possession of both the Golden Rod and the Focusing Stone, Richtofen believes he can now control the zombies. The group then travels to Area 51 so they can get to the moon via a teleporter to a top-secret Moon facility named Griffin Station. When the group reaches Area 51, it is already overrun. Due to the Element 115 on the moon, astronauts and scientists sent there have been zombified before the group's arrival. The people killed by Groph and Schuster contributed even more to the zombie horde.

Richtofen then has the group complete the M.P.D.. When the device is completed, it opens up to reveal Samantha Maxis suspended in the air. As it turns out, the device acts like a prison and keeps her cryogenically frozen so she can be used to control the zombies. Richtofen goes to a terminal to power up the Golden Rod (or V Device) and theFocusing Stone, which he fuses together. However, he encounters Dr. Maxis inside the terminal, who tries to stop him. Richtofen switches souls with Samantha to gain control of the zombies. Richtofen finally thinks everything has gone his way, until Takeo, Tank, and Nikolai decide to stop him. Dr. Maxis, sensing Richtofen's betrayal, prepared a backup plan in case Richtofen got this far. The group then fires the missiles located on the Moon, which destroys the Earth's atmosphere. Richtofen is now only in control of the zombies on the moon, greatly lessening the damage he could cause."striaght from http://callofduty.wikia.com/wiki/Zombies_(mode)/Story

Call of Duty: Black Ops:
electroshock, stolen memories, and the CIA too close for comfort

Themes in the game include mind control, mental driving, Kennedy, Cuba, and the Cold War, basically an interesting mix of real world black operations history. The game begins with your character Alex Mason being strapped to a chair. Out the corner of the screen one can note nine TV screens. They play random footage of Kennedy, Russia, China, Castro, repeat, until they all align to an image of one giant eye across all nine TVs.
The Call of Duty wiki informs us about the first level

" Mason is asked questions by an unknown interrogator about a numbers broadcast which is being used to contact Soviet sleeper cells in the United States. "
Interrogator:” How can you be sure you really know what happened? "
" Focus Mason...try to remember "
" Why did you do it Mason, why? "
" The numbers Mason what do they mean? "
" You know why your here "
Bluish bright light coming from above...
" You can stop all this now "
" Why did you trust him "
" We're running out of time "
" It's up to you Mason, it's all up to you "
" You killed him Mason. You did it.
"No one else. Just you. "

On the right below the TVs, is a smoking cigarette in an ashtray and surgery tools. There are five and six digit codes on many small instruments and machines.
The lights start beating with Mason's heartbeat. There is a whispering voice repeating “I am “without stop and a woman and a man can be heard discussing something but it is not entirely audible.

“Who are you?” - Mason
" That's not important, what is, is who you are. The numbers Mason what do they mean? Where are the transmissions coming from?"

Meanwhile electroshock is administered which causes Mason to see strings of seemingly random digits, like the ones found in the room. He also begins receiving memory of the 1961 Bay of Pigs Invasion related to a Project 40. David Ferrie of course trained pilots for that CIA sponsored fiasco, in Guatemala, but not before supplying Castro with weapons to war against Batista. After the Bay of Pigs, Kennedy promptly began clearing house in the intelligence community.

“You will break American "

It is then made apparent that Mason was a "gift" to the Russian Castro alliance. On April 19th 1961 two American CIA agents were taken hostage but executed. (Angus K McNair and Howard F Anderson)

Oct 6, 1963

Reznov fights Mason to distract the guards in a labor camp in Vorkuta, U.S.S.R.
Here it is relayed for the first time in an unrelated context, some of the steps of Mason's programming. These steps are also repeated during the almost assassination of the President. ( Kennedy's debriefing on Castro )

" Secure the keys "
" Ascend from Darkness "
" Reign Fire "
" Unleash the Horde "
" Scold the Wicked beast "
" Wield the Fist of Iron "
" Raise Hell "

Mason in Vorkuta-

" I was on my own ...almost a year. They used tear gas. It never left me." -Mason in Vorkuta-

Then the interrogator explains that he was handed over to Jason Hudson.

“Jason Hudson was my new handler "

As Mason is walked through a memory of the the Pentagon, an attractive blonde stares him down.

Mason,_U.S.S.D..jpg
CLERK: "He's here." MASON: "I felt like everyone was watching us, Watching me."

" We were watching you the whole time "
" You were getting close to your objective "
" This inner sanctum was built in 1943, we rarely use it. Jack Ruby and Oswald flash on two of the eight TVs in the background.
" I can't get these fucking numbers out of my head "

Operation 40 August 12, 1969

The documents ( 3 pages ) inside the game under Intel show us that the objective of operation 40 was to " bring about the replacement of the Castro regime with a regime more devoted to the true interests of the Cuban people. This is very similar to the debriefing Eisenhower and Kennedy was actually given on the Bay of Pigs before it went entirely sour. This file also inform us that mason was born Sept 6, 1960 A file on Vorkuta reveals about Reznov.

" his fate was irrevocably changed following a post war mission to the Arctic Circle" (details of the mission are unclear which leads one to wonder the Thule, the entrance to the Artic?)
" Gulag system, where he endured years of harsh punishment and attempted " reprogramming "

The Rebirth Document is very interesting as well, showing places in the US with military facilities, charred bodily remains, and what appears to be an alien skull. This document is also marked CIA. The Revelations document refers to Mason as a proverbial “Manchurian Candidate”

Notes related to G.I.Joe and the X-Files:

Almost got through this whole post without mentioning G.I.Joe, but that might be impossible...

In the X-Files episode, Nothing Important Happened Today, an "alternate" type super soldiers is Lucy Lawless, as a water breathing fish human super hybrid. In G.I.Joe Mara plays the same kind of human/fish hybrid genetically created in a Cobra underwater base, as well as a MK-Ultra style mind wiped wife to Shipwreck in There's No Place Like Springfield...

Of course Springfield is a suburb built by Cobra, on top of a secret underground Cobra base.

But Call of Duty also has a fake city, seemingly for the use of nuclear test, we can assume somewhere near Los Alamos
